Tagged.com reached a settlement with the New York Attorney General in which Tagged.com agreed to pay $500,000 and to modify its promotional pratices.[27] Simultaneously, Tagged.com settled an enforcement action by the state of Texas. In the settlement, Tagged.com agreed to pay $250,000 in penalties and fees. Other conditions of the settlement included "Clear and Conspicuous" disclosure of the use of information in the user's email address book, providing a clear method of skipping the step and displaying to the user the specific emails which will be sent.[28] From February 2009, Tagged.com has been blocked in Qatar by the only ISP, Qtel, after a number of complaints from the public.[29] Tagged.com had been one of the 10 most visited sites in Qatar.[30]"
